Raymonds Football Club have won the 2017 Food City sponsored Rewa Local league competition and have booked a spot in the Vodafone National Club Championship this weekend.
The side which has the experience of national and Rewa goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau and the bunch Rewa youth players finished the competition with 28 points.
The Nigel Khan coached side won nine matches, drew one and lost one to win the title.
In their last and important match on Sunday they thrashed Burebasaqa FC 14-1 to win the competition with better goal advantage.
The competition was amongst Raymonds Sports, Kasavu Sports and Nakasi Lions.
In the last match Kasavu drew 1-1 against Nausori United while Nakasi Lions won by default against Nausori United.
All three team finished with 28 points but Raymonds and Kasavi had better goal advantage and qualified for the Vodafone National Club Championship from Rewa.
Meanwhile Taione Kerevanua’s Navuso Sports and Burebasaqa Sports Club have been relegated to the premier division while Delta Timber Verata and Korociri Sports makes it to the Super Premier division next season.
