No one has a fixed position in the Vodafone National football team says coach, Christhope Gamel.
He said the players would be monitored during the upcoming Courts Inter District Championship in Lautoka.
“There is no confirmed place for anyone in my team and I will monitor their performance,”Gamel said.
Gamel said the players were given proper guidelines and programs and they had to abide by that.
“They all know that if they don’t perform as expected they will be dropped.”
“Gamel said he had a list of some players who would be playing joining the camp for the Estonia match.
“I have already selected some players looking at the performance during the tournaments and Vodafone Premier League and I will bring in more youth players,”Gamel said.
“If I see potential in youth players I always give them the chance to come and taste the national team and prepare them for the future.
Gamel said he had already started monitoring players while they prepare for the tournament.
“I have already started monitoring them and I have send our physio Varun to check on the players and their fitness and I have warned some players in Rewa because they did not attend the test with physio.”
Gamel said players had great exposure playing in the Indonesia tour.
“Some players had great exposure playing against Indonesia and the top club team and that will add advantage to the teams.”
“Some players have good future and believe me they can match with players from other top countries but they need to dedicated and determined,”Gamel said.
