Nasinu U16 wins

The Nasinu U16 side registered its first win in the Vodafone U16 Youth League Southern Zone defeating Tailevu Naitasiri 3-0 last Saturday at Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Vatuwaqa.
The rising footballers of Nasinu regrouped after two losses in the league and came out firing against their neighbours which gave them the much needed 3 points.
Nichael Singh scored the opener in the 22nd minute while Iliesa Delaibau scored in 45th to see Nasinu at break with 2-0 lead.
Midway in the second half Delaibau scored his second goal for the day putting Nasinu on 5th position wuth the points table with three points.
Nasinu coach Shiveenl Samu was overjoyed after the victory.
“I am really proud of my boys today (Saturday) and thank for playing their hearts out, “said Sami.
Sami said they worked hard for the match and hard work paid off for the boys.
“The boys really worked hard and followed the game plan which was strength behind our win today, “Sami said.
The Rishikul Primary School teacher said the first win was always a boost.
“Our first win against Tailevu Naitasiri will boost the morale of our boys and I am sure we will come more prepared in our remaining matches.
Tailevu Naitasiri head coach Tagi Vonolagi said this was their development team and would need more time to jell well together.
“We will look for more players from others schools around Nausori and will come more prepared in our others matches, “said Vonolagi.
