Eight teams confirmed for NCC finals

Five teams from southern and three from Western Division will be grouped in the different pools for the final round at Govind Park in Ba this weekend.#Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal confirmed that teams from the Southern Division includes Lokia United FC of Rewa , Bureta FC of Suva, Nakasi Lions of Rewa, Chelsea FC of Nasinu and defending champions Civic FC while Namaka FC of Nadi, 4R Electrical of Ba and City United of Lautoka have qualified from the West.#Pal said defending champions Civic FC of Suva topped pool three with six points while Rewa’s Lokia United FC and Suva club champion AFL Bureta qualified from pool one while Nasinu’s Chelsea FC and Nakasi Lions of Rewa also qualified from pool two.#Pal said he was really impressed with the performance of all clubs during the play offs.#”The teams have come better prepared compared with last year and the standard has gone up to another level. The senior teams have jelled in well with the other teams in the competition and all teams have improved in terms of their playing standard from last year.”#Pal said the teams from the South and West would be drawn in a pool for the final round.#”Teams who had qualified for the final round would be drawn in different pools,” he added.#”There will be two pools which will have four teams each who will play for the title.#”The top two teams from each pool will play in the semi-final.#The pool draw for the 2015 Rooster National Club Championship will be done tomorrow at Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.#
