This is all part of our development program. We made a slow start but then picked up the momentum. Four of our national players were suspended and we had to pay their fines to get them cleared for the tournament.”#Ba received $2000 and the IDC trophy. Ting said she would have to discuss with the association’s executives in regards to the distribution of the prizemoney.#”It is back to our development program in the off-season,” she said.#Rewa coach Marika Rodu was gracious in defeat.#Rodu said it was the first time for Rewa to the reach the IDC final.#”The girls still did well and playing four games in two days is no easy task,” he said.#”It was a big task from them so overall it was a good outing. For the first time Rewa reached the final and this is what they can take back home and build on to become better footballers.#Meanwhile Rewa defeated Lautoka 3-2 in a penalty shootout in the semi-final while Ba defeated Labasa 1-0.#Rewa received $1000 prizemoney as runners-up while Lautoka and Labasa were awared $250 each as semi-finalist.#
