Tavua Football Association president Pranesh Prakash says they are confident of facing the giants in the Vodafone Fiji FACT 2019 after the pool draws last Thursday in Lautoka.
Prakash said they had started their preparation but there was some problems in getting the grounds but was all good now.
“We have started our preparation for the Fiji FACT and since now we have known who all we will play in the pool stages so will prepare accordingly,”
“We are going to give a good run in this tournament,” said Prakash.
“ We will take each game seriously as we know every team is doing preparations because it is not league game as we have beaten Labasa and Suva but we know they all will come out more prepared in the tournament and hopefully we go through to the semi-finals,”
Tavua is drawn in Group A with host Lautoka, Labasa and Suva.
The Vodafone Fiji FACT will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka from May 3-5 and the semi-finals and final a week later at the same venue.
