Random drug test will continue at the Courts Inter District Championship at Churchill Park Lautoka says Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf.
Yusuf said they were trying to make the football drug free and clean.
“We started it with the Vodafone Fiji national team. At the Vodafone Fiji FACT, INKK Mobile BOG and will continue testing players at the Courts IDC,” Yusuf said.
“We have to comply with the FIFA directive and one of the issues is that players have to be tested randomly.”
He said if the players test positive then they would be subjected to disciplinary action and the district would also face fines.
“We have warn the districts and the players and I am sure they will abide by this.”
The 2017 Courts Inter District Championship will be played from Tuesday 10-15 October.
