With just 13 days remaining until the OFC Men’s Champions League 2026 kicks off, Rewa FC has intensified its preparations by entering camp today at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa.
The Delta Tigers will use the residential camp to fine-tune their preparations ahead of Oceania’s premier club competition, which Fiji will host from August 9-22 at Churchill Park, Lautoka, and 4R Stadium at Govind Park, Ba.
Before turning their full attention to the continental championship, Rewa will first honour its Extra Premier League commitment against Suva FC this weekend. Following the league fixture, the team will relocate its camp to the Western Division, where it will complete its final preparations for the tournament.
Rewa has also received a major boost with the signing of Tahiti United midfielder Joseph Athale, who has linked up with the squad in camp. The experienced midfielder is expected to strengthen the Delta Tigers’ midfield as they prepare to take on Oceania’s elite clubs.
The Tevita Waranivalu coached side opens its Group B campaign against Galaxy FC of Vanuatu on Sunday, August 9, at 3pm at Churchill Park, Lautoka. Rewa will then face Tupapa Maraerenga FC of the Cook Islands on Wednesday, August 12, at 4pm at 4R Stadium at Govind Park, Ba, before concluding the group stage against Lae City FC of Papua New Guinea on Saturday, August 15, at 3pm, also at 4R Stadium.
The top two teams from the group will progress to the semi-finals on August 19, with the tournament final scheduled for August 22 at 4R Stadium at Govind Park, Ba.
