Rakiraki’s fate in the premier division will be decided this weekend when they take on Dreketi and Ba in the Vodafone Premier League fixture.
Rakiraki currently sit on the bottom of the points table with one point after playing eleven matches.
The westerners will have to win both of their matches this weekend to keep their chances alive in the top division.
Rakiraki will host Dreketi in the bottom of the table clash this Saturday at 2pm at FSC Ground and face Ba on Sunday at 3pm at Govind Park in Ba.
Dreketi team has four points after playing twelve matches and a win against Rakiraki will secure their spot while Rakiraki will say goodbye to the top division.
The Pragesh Goundar coached side made their debut in the premier division and created history with a draw against Lautoka this year.
Meanwhile Rakiraki will host all its remaining matches at FSC Grounds after a successfully hosting Rewa last weekend.
Association president Shaneel Goundar said they were happy to see the support from the Rakiraki fans.
“We were really happy to see the huge crowd last Saturday as we hosted our first Premier League match after so many years,”Goundar said.
He said they would try to win two of its matches and keep their chances alive in the top divison.
