The nominations for the Vodafone National Club Championship closes today.
Fiji FA competition manager Amitesh Pal said they had advised the districts earlier on the closing date.
“The districts know when the nomination closes and there were some districts who have finished their local competition and should send their nomination by Friday, ‘Pal said.
Pal said we had also adviced districts who were unable to finish their local competitions to send in the nomination for teams they thought could qualify.
“The districts that have not finished the local competition and they can finish on time for the play off can send the nomination for their team 1 and team 2.”
Pal said we expect much bigger and better competition this year in the Vodafone National Club Championship.
“The NCC is growing bigger and better every year and this we hope the same.’
“It is compulsory for all districts to nominate two top clubs from tier one competition of their Local League for the championship,” Pal said.
Pal said the districts are reminded to send in their nomination by September 8.
“Also please note that all the required registration documents from the clubs MUST be received by Fiji FA by Monday 11 September 2017,”Pal added.
Pal said it was a timely reminder to district associations to complete their local league competition on time and nominate clubs before deadline.
The dates of the competition will be as follows:
Zonal Playoff 16/17 September 2017 Venue (to be announced)
Final Competition 22 – 24 September 2017 Venue (to be announced)
