The Ultimate Fiji Cup Tournament is a great way for Fijian football players to get exposure and experience say organiser Bruce Tilt.
He said the tournament had entered in its sixth year this year and was very proud with the relationship with Fiji Football.
“It’s all about youth development as we know Fiji Football is much committed in the development of football in the country, “he said.
He said about 28 teams were involved in a week long tournament with the age groups of 11, 13,15, and 17 in the both male and females.
“It is quite a big tournament with different formats for different age groups.
“We could see the competition amongst the teams as the Fiji players get exposure playing international teams.
Tilt said the teams were all around from Australia and playing against Fiji teams is a head way for development of football.
“We got teams from all around Australia and this is a good way to share the experience and get exposure for the Fijians and the Socceroo’s.
He said it was a good level of tournament where all players had to lift a little bit extra in their performance.
“The competition level is very high as we can see all teams are really prepared.
Meanwhile Fiji teams have been doing well in the tournament as Ba won the mini tournament on Monday.
The tournament started last Sunday and ends on Saturday.
