Ba beat Suva 5-3 in the first leg

The Capital City side lost 5-3 to the Men-in Black in the first leg at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.#The Salen Lal coach Ba side started the campaign scoring their first within two minutes into the game with the boots of Shameel Rao. #Abbu Zaheed put them up 2-0, six minutes later before Antonio Tuivuna pulled back one for Suva in the 30th minute.#Ba led 2-1 at half-time.#The Capital City side started the second spell attacking at the Ba goal and in the 54th minute, Vodafone Fiji U-20 rep Nickel Chand equalised for his side.#Suva kept pressure on Ba defense and in the 60th minute Noa Vukica’s power drive extended Suva’s lead 3-2.#The last 20 minutes was all Ba, as they scored three unanswered goals. In the 71st minute Jone Vesikula equalised for Ba and two minutes later a plié drive by Avinesh Warran Swamy extended Ba’s lead.#Vodafone Fiji U20 striker Saula Waqa scored Ba’s fifth goal in the 90th minute after beating Suva goalkeeper Uliasi Tamanisau.#The second leg will be played at Ba’s Govind Park on the coming Sunday.#Avikash Chand#Fiji FA Media#
