Tailevu Naitasiri will debut against Nadi

#Newcomers Tailevu Naitasiri are preparing well for the first match of the Fiji FA Galaxy Premier League against Nadi at Ratu Cakobau in Nausori.#Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association president Sandeep Roy says the team is preparing well with the guidance Elvis Goundar and Salen Roy.#“Goundar is our former coach who helped us in 2008. We were undefeated throughout that season and only lost to Nadroga in the second leg of the promotion relegation series.#“He left us in 2010 because of work commitment and we welcome him back as our coach Tagi Vonolagi is away in Malaysia”.#Meanwhile Goundar says he is happy to be back with the team and has been working on the players fitness.#“I have a very difficult task ahead of me as this will be my first team to coach in the super premier level, “said Goundar .#“We will be taking Nadi seriously and we won’t let our fans go disappointed come Saturday”.#“We have a bunch of youths and senior players and I will be banking on my youth players.”#The Vunimono High School teacher is also urging Tailevu Naitasiri fans to come in numbers and support the team.#Tailevu Naitasiri are boosted with the likes of Vikarant Chandra, Ajesh Narayan, Nalinesh Reddy, Madhwan Goundar, Kitione Tabaiwalu, Nitan Kumar, Jale Vota, David Matavesi, Keni Doidoi and Rohnil Ram who has been deemed as a player to watch#Meanwhile Josefata Dugucagi, Ilimotama Jese and Veresa Toma will not feature for Nadi in their 2015 Fiji FA Galaxy Premier League opening game against newcomers Tailevu Naitasiri this Saturday.#Vice President and assistant coach Pranesh Amarsee says Dugucagi has work commitments whilst Jese and Toma have not been turning up for training.#Nadi are keeping their fingers crossed that number 1 goalkeeper Ben Aminio, who is currently with the Vodafone Fiji U17s side in Samoa joins the team upon his return.#“But we have Vereti Dixson to cover for Ben should the need arise, “added Amarsee.#Returning to top level football after a long break, Amarsee says it was a challenge to get players together for training. His current focus has been lift the players’ fitness.#“I’m working on the fitness level of my players because they have come back from the festive season.#“We are taking our opponents seriously and I know they will be playing in front of their home crowd and they will not let us go easy ,” said Amarsee.#Nadi will banking on the services of Ame Votaniu,William Valentine,Kavaia Rawaqa,Lekima Gonerau,Krishna Sami, Jolame Vukivuki and Samuela Drudru.#Nadi’s player to watch will be striker Samuela Drudru.#Avikash Chand#Fiji FA Media#
