$160,000 for Galaxy League

Sponsorship fund for this year’s Fiji FA National Football League is $160,000.
The cheque was presented to Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel by CJ Patel Group of companies marketing director Nathan Hildebrand.
Hilderbrand projects a better and bigger event this year.
“I think some of the initiatives Fiji FA, Galaxy and Vodafone have put in place will go a long way in driving increased crowd participation “he said.
“That’s one of the key issue we want to address moving forward by growing crowds and improving the size of the crowds that will increase the level of competition by the district and it becomes a snowball effect with more people and more crowd.”
Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel echoed the same sentiments. He also apologised for the delay in the league but said it was beyond their control.
“Out of respect due to the untimely death of the head of CJ Patel of Group of Companies, Mr Sundip Patel, it was delayed,” said Patel.
“Every year our sponsors announce the brand and this year we have been given Galaxy Premier League. There will be lots of free giveaways, thanks to CJ Patel and Vodafone.
“These free giveaways will be a great attraction for everyone attending the games thus will encourage more spectators at the games.”
