Amarsee to cherish first win

The Jacks of Fiji Nadi Football coach Pranesh Amarsee would always cherish winning the Vodafone Fiji fact 2019.

Amarsee said this was his first tournament win with Nadi and something would be recorded in the history books of Nadi for their first ever tournament win played at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

“It is just a fantastic moment for me and the whole of Nadi,” Amarsee said.

“We have finally won a tournament here at Churchill Park and this group of young lads guided a few senior reps will always be remembered for this achievement.”

Being down by goal in the first half half, Amarsee said his only message at the break was, “You still got 45 minutes to go and just bring back the fighting spirit we showed against Lautoka in the semifinal. Play as the way we are supposed to and we should get the goals.

“I just reminded them that we should not fear the names on paper.

“And the boys delivered it in style.”

While the nation celebrated mothers’ day, Amarsee dedicated the win to all the mothers of Fiji.
