Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) mid-season transfer window opened yesterday and will close on July 15.
This was confirmed by Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal.
He said members are advised to strictly follow the procedures for seeking and arranging transfers.
“The mid-season window will be only for 15 days and we request districts and players to follow proper procedures for seeking and arranging transfers,” said Pal
Pal said the transfer window was alienated in three categories.
“This transfer window period is for men’s, women’s and for futsal players,”
“Fiji FA will only process the transfers on receipt of required documents i.e. the original district transfer certificate duly approved and also signed by the districts president and secretary and accompanied by a duly completed player license form also signed by the player and the district officials.”
“It is noted that at the end of the window period, many players submit a copy letter alleging a copy of letter already sent to the districts, but no confirmation of the receipt by the clubs or districts. Such letters with no proper address will not be accepted,” Pal said
Pal said all applications must be submitted with an application fee without which the application would not be considered.
“All necessary documents must be submitted within seven days. Applications received on the last day of the transfer period will lapse after seven days if all the documents are not received on time.”
He said only original documents would be accepted with appropriate fee.
“Also please note that we are no longer using fax, all transfer documents should be sent to us through all other means then by fax,”
“For ease of communication and to avoid mix-ups we have allocated an email for all the transfers only and we request all the parties involved to send their transfer documents to the email email@example.com.
