Tavua and Seaqaqa will meet in the first leg of the Vodafone Senior League play offs this Sunday at 3pm at Garvey Park in Tavua.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said the winner from the two leg series would get automatic promotion to the top division.
“Tavua as the champions of Viti Levu Zone and Seaqaqa as the winners of Vanua Levu zone will play in two leg series and the winner gets direct promotion to the Premier Division, “Pal said.
He said the fixture would be a cracker as both teams had prepared well for the series.
‘I am sure fans can expect firecrackers to explode as this will be very important match for both teams.”
Pal said both teams were very strong in their division.
“Both team are well organised and play structured football and the fans in Tavua will enjoy the first leg, “Pal said.
He said the second leg of the series would be played on September 2 at Subrail Park in Labasa.
“Entry will free for both matches and the fans can go enjoy the match.”
Meanwhile Rakiraki has been demoted to the senior division after finishing last in the Vodafone Premier League points table this season.
