Stiff competition in U16 camp

The Vodafone Regional Academy U16 team is not leaving any stones unturned as they prepare for the OFC U16 Championship in Solomon Islands next month.
The team is headed by Yogendra Dutt with assistance from Shalen Lal and Sunil Kumar.
Assistant coach Shalen Lal said the competition level with this squad is getting stiff as the boys are fighting for their place to travel to Solomon Islands.
“Team is preparing well under the guidance of us three coaches.
“We are still working on to get the best combination.
“A pool of 28 players fighting for their position in the team so we coaches are working hard to pick the best for the country and are preparing the team in all aspects of the game so to give in the best performance we could at the championship.”
Fiji is in group B along with Samoa, Tahiti and New Caledonia.
