An exciting round of matches is expected in the Vodafone Senior League competition this weekend.
In the Viti Levu zone, point leaders Nasinu face Lami at Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Vatuwaqa this Sunday.
Nasinu lead the zone with 15 points will have a tough encounter against Lami which sit in the second spot with 13 points.
A win to Nasinu will give them advantage while Lami will need to win to top the points table.
The Shivam-Naithan coached side are currently undefeated in the competition and would not be taking the match lightly against a star studded Lami side.
Lami have the services of former Dreketi goalkeeper Waisake Ravuiwasa, former Suva and Labasa and Vodafone Fiji U20 rep Nikil Chand, former Labasa rep Manasa Levaci and former Dreketi striker Taniela Rakariva, while Nasinu has the likes of Joseph Mishra, Nasoni Mereke, Robert Nair, Kaushik Kumar to name a few with former Suva and Labasa goalkeeper Azmat Begg.
The Vodafone Senior League this season has been tough as all the teams are gunning for the spot in the premier division.
The Nasinu vs Lami match will kick off at 3pm on Sunday April 29.
Meanwhile in other matches Rakiraki will play Nadroga at 2pm at FSC Grounds in Rakiraki while Tailevu Naitasiri will face Navua at 1pm at FFA Academy Grounds. All the matches will be played on Sunday April 29.
In the Vodafone Senior League Northern Zone will see Savusavu playing Seaqaqa at Buca Sports Ground in Savusavu at 2.30pm while Nadogo will face Taveuni at 1pm.
