The Fiji Football Association and Labasa Town Council have today signed an agreement to host the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT at Subrail Park in Labasa.
The tournament will see group matches played from June 19 to 21, with the semifinals and final scheduled for the following weekend.
The pool draws for the tournament will be held this Saturday at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
Labasa has continued to cement its place as one of Fiji’s major football centres, having recently hosted the 2024 Fiji FACT and the 2025 Battle of the Giants, which returned to Subrail Park after 23 years.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said the association was excited to once again bring one of the country’s premier football tournaments to the North.
“We are delighted to partner with the Labasa Town Council to host the BiC Fiji FACT 2026 at Subrail Park. Labasa has a proud football history and passionate supporters, and we are confident fans will come out in large numbers to support the tournament,” Yusuf said.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to bringing major football events to communities around Fiji while providing the best possible experience for players, officials, sponsors and fans.”
Labasa Town Council Special Administrator Paul Jaduram welcomed the agreement, saying the tournament would provide a major boost for the town and the Northern Division.
“We are honoured to host the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT in Labasa. This is a significant event for the North and we look forward to welcoming teams and supporters from around the country. Hosting such a major tournament will also bring positive economic benefits to businesses and the community,” Jaduram said.
The BiC Fiji FACT is expected to boost sports tourism and economic activity in Labasa during the tournament period.
