ROY, CHETTY ELECTED FIJI FA VICE-PRESIDENTS

Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association president Sundeep Roy and Mun Sami Chetty have been elected the new vice-presidents of the Fiji Football Association.

The duo was officially endorsed as members of the Fiji FA Board of Control during the association’s 88th Ordinary Congress at Xavier College in Ba today.

Roy assumes the position of Vice-President South, while Chetty will serve as Vice-President West.

Chetty was elected unopposed, while Roy and Navua Football Association president Rajeev Prasad had initially been nominated for the southern position.

However, Prasad was ruled ineligible by an independent committee two days before the Congress because of a previous criminal conviction, leaving Roy as the sole eligible candidate.

The Congress was held ahead of the opening round of the 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants at Four R Stadium at Govind Park in Ba.
