Preview- Labasa vs Suva

The first semifinal of the 2018 Courts Inter-District Championship will see hosts Lincoln Refrigeration Suva taking on A1 Signs Labasa at 4.30pm on Tuesday.
The Babasiga Lions remains unbeaten after the completion of pool matches last Sunday.
They started its IDC campaign on a high beating newcomers Nasinu 5-1 in their opening match last Friday before outclassing defending champions Lautoka 1-0 on Saturday and wrapped up its group in style beating 2-0 on the last day of pool matches to top group A.
Local imports Vilitati Kautoga and Siotama Kubu together with striker Christopher Wasasala and midfielder Edwin Sahayam had been on song for Labasa all throughout. Sahayam’s screamer against Lautoka has been one of the best goals in the tournament.
And the Capital City Boys finished as runner up in group B.
The Gurjit Singh-coached side had a shaky start of the tournament going down to Nadi 2-1 in the first match. Keeping the hopes alive, they bounced back on day two and outshined Rewa 2-1 before punishing Tavua 3-0 in the group B deciding fixture on Sunday.
Overseas based players Jacky Ruben, Jeffery Bule and Mathias Iani has still not found the rhythm for Suva with the trio yet to score a goal in the three days of pool matches.
Local import Napolioni Qasevakatini got his first goal against Tavua in the last pool match after struggling to find the net during the first two matches.
