Mom and Pop League in Labasa

The Mom & Pop League in Labasa has gained overwhelmed support says Fiji FA Development officer North, Senaila Bera.
“We can see it grew every week since we started three weeks ago and the number is increasing every week,”Bera said.
Bera said they had been getting positive feedback from parents and kids on this development programme.
“So far everyone here in Labasa are praising Fiji Football in its initiative to run this grassroots development programe for kids from the age of 6-10 years.’
“We all know it is always a busy Saturday for most of the parents but their commitments into the upbringing of these kids will bare fruits one day in future.
Bera said kids are really enjoying themselves every Saturdays as they get to learn new things.
“Some of the kids have really shown their passion and love for football as we could see how determined they are to learn new tactics and skills.’
“This is a ten week programme and we will announce soon as to how we will be engaging these kids after this programme.”
The Mom & Pop League will continue this Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa from 10am to 12pm.
