The Vodafone Premier League 2019 was officially opened at Subrail Park in Labasa on Saturday.
Vodafone Fiji head of Digital Business and Service Innovation, Rizvi Amith was the guest at the function.
While addressing the spectators, Amith said this was part of the passion to give back to our Vanua.
He said it was a special moment to have the opening ceremony in Labasa, a place where Fiji’s wonder boy Roy Krishna came from.
“We have been going hand in hand with Fiji’s football success story for the past years now.
“Starting from grass root level up until the national team representing our nation to the world,” he said.
“By being the brand and the support behind our players at all levels of football and we thank the Fiji Football Association for the trust they have on us to be along side them in this journey.”
He said each and everyone surely had what it takes to be the next football sensation for the nation.
“And as a sponsor our aim is to provide you with all the support we can to help you achieve that status.
“By the guidance of the Fiji football association we are happy to say you all are in good hands.
“Vodafone Fiji pledges its support for the sport at all levels & we continue to look for opportunities where we could uplift the well being of all Fiji’s sport men & women.”
