Fiji FA president Rjaehs Patel has promised a reward of $50,000 to the players if they win gold in Papua New Guinea and qualify for the Olympics.#Speaking to the team during their farewell at Fiji FA National Football Academy in Ba, Patel said he gave the same reward to the Vodafone Fijian U20 players when they qualified for the World Cup and the U23s would be no exception if they make the country proud.#“I want you players to play as a team and prove critics wrong by delivering your best and show them that we mean business. I’m sure you have prepared well and I know we have excellent players who can make us proud.”#“I have seen you guys play against Wellington Phoenix but we could have score many goals if we played as a team. You should play as a team, if one of you score the whole team win.”#“Play as a team, play for your country and you will achieve your goal. We have done our part and it’s your turn to return with the double achievement and that’s s gold and qualification to the Rio Olympics,” he added.#The Vodafone Fijian U23 side departed to Papua New Guinea yesterday and will play their first match against Vanuatu tomorrow at 12pm at Bisini Complex in Papua New Guinea.#
