Nadroga To Do Wonders At B.O.G

Making his debut in B.O.G will be Sunny Deol, a name of a Bollywood star.#Deol said he is eager to play in his first Battle of the Giants tournament for the Stallions.#“Yes I am looking forward to play in the tournament this weekend, “Deol said.#Deol said they had been in camp from last week and the preparation had been going well.#“We have been training three sessions daily and everyone is looking forward for the tournament.#The Kavanigasau farmer said the morale in team was high as they were really looked after well by the new management.#“Everyone is very happy in camp as everything is organised well in camp for us, not like before.#He said there was lot of support from the community and former players.#The 20- year old forward says they are coming in the tournament as underdogs but they will do their best for the people of Nadroga.#“Our aim is to reach the semi-final and our focus is the national league games, “he said.#Deol said they were looking BOG as building combination and structure to lead up to the league games to avoid demotion.#“Our focus is the national league matches because we want to avoid demotion but we are also taking BOG seriously so it could boost the morale of the players and gain support from the fans.’#Nadroga is coached by former rep Waisea Tale and Kameli Kilawaca .#The Stallions last won the BOG title in 2002 at Subrail Park in Labasa beating the host 4-2 in the final.#The Waisea Tale coached side are in Pool A with Ba, Nadi and Labasa and plays its first match against Ba on Friday at 3pm and Labasa on Saturday at 3pm and final pool match on Sunday against Lautoka at 10 am.#
