The Labasa striker who came in as a substitute in all the three matches was eager to score when he took the field.#“I really wanted to score a goal but I think I was unfortunate and could not score but I’m proud that I was given a chance to play in the World Cup,” he said.#The Savusavu native says, he had learned a lot from playing against the world’s top teams.#“I have a lot of experience and exposure of playing in the World Cup and I’m sure I will carry on with what I have learnt from playing in New Zealand.”#The former Seaqaqa striker is yet to arrive in the North as he takes a break with his family in Lautoka.#“I am still here in Viti Levu and after a break I will join Labasa for the Rewa Galaxy Premier League.#“My dad called me and praised me and the team for our performance in the World Cup. They are eagerly waiting for me to arrive home but I told them I need a break before I come back home.#“I will be going home this weekend and hope to start training with the Labasa team next week,” he added.#Fiji FA Media
