Krishna featured for his new Auckland City club at the FIFA Club World Cup opening match against host Morocco club Raja Casablanca last week. #Earlier in his career the Fijian International was the first to play at the FIFA Club World Cup. #The former Labasa striker said this achievement was a milestone one for him. # “It was always a dream of mine to score a goal at a World Cup. To score at such a big tournament with teams of the stature of Bayern Munchen was fantastic. Now my name is in the scoring charts. I will remember this moment for the rest of my life and I’m happy I managed to achieve what I did,” Krishna said. #Casablanca was leading the match 1-0 and a misunderstanding between two Casablanca defenders caused them to run into each other, clearing the way for Krishna, who kept his composure to slide the ball past the #goalkeeper and into the net.#“That was unlucky for them, but lucky for me,” he said. “I pounced on the chance and I’m happy I managed to score.”#Krishna’s City lost 2-1 after a goal by Casablanca in second-half stoppage time and for the fourth time in a row was knocked out in the first round. #Other Fiji reps Osea Vakatalesau, Malakai Tiwa, Simione Tamanisau, Tuimasi Manuca and Alvin Singh have also played at the FIFA Club World Cup. # Fiji FA MEDIA #
