Krishna tipped to lead Fiji

Krishna arrived in the country on Tuesday and is eager to play for Fiji against his own team Wellington Phoenix.#Krishna, who plays for Phoenix, has arrived into the country and will be featuring for the national team. #Coach Carlos Buzzetti said Krishna has the caliber and is the most respected footballer.#“He has opted to play for his country first and I’m very happy that he will play for our national team against his own team.”#The 28-year-old Siberia native from Labasa said the playoffs would be a great development for the national side.#“It’s a pre-season, so you know there’s still a lot to be done in this season and we have to work hard to get our fitness back and it’s a challenge and hopefully the boys are looking forward to the game because it’s a big opportunity for them as well to prove to coaches that they can play at international level and hopefully some of them can get a contract.”#Krishna is likely to partner with Osea Vakatalesau upfront for the national team.#
