Champions League next for Ba

National League board secretary Amitesh Pal says Ba will be excused from the league after this weekend. #Pal added that Ba and Nadi sides who will be representing Fiji at the Oceania Champions League have gained special permission by Fiji Football Association to take some off to prepare for the international meet. # “The Ba Football Association had advised Fiji Football that they intend to use the month of March to prepare for the Oceania Champions League. Fiji FA agreed to this in the council meeting. Nadi has advised they intend to take a leave in early March, “Pal said. #The Oceania Champions League group stages will be hosted in Ba, Lautoka and Nadi from 7 – 15 April, 2014.#Group A sees Waitakere United, Kiwi FC, the as yet to be determined club champions of the Solomon Islands and Tahiti’s AS Pirae.#Group B matches another Tahitian club, AS Dragon, in a pool alongside Amicale of Vanuatu, defending champions Auckland City FC and one of the two host clubs Nadi.#In Group C, Ba entertains Tafea of Vanuatu, AS Magenta of New Caledonia and one-time OFC Champions League winners, Hekari United of Papua New Guinea.#Four teams will qualify for the home and away semi-finals scheduled for April 26/27 and May 3/4.#The OFC Champions League final is scheduled for 10/11 May, 2014, at a venue yet to be determined.#The winner of the OFC Champions League represents the OFC at the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.# Fiji FA MEDIA #
