The Babasiga Lions maintain their lead and unbeaten run in the competition and now have 8 points from 4 matches.
Suva started the match well and took the lead in the 3rd minute through Fiji U20 midfielder Nickel Chand
Replacement Suva striker Sakaraia Naisua scored Suva’s second goal in the 70th minute after finishing an excellent midfield move from nippy Shahil Dave
A defensive mistake by Suva allowed Labasa to pull one back through defender Posiano Kalisito three minutes later.
Suva’s celebration was cut short when replacement Edwin Sahayam equalised for the Babasiga Lions at the stroke of fulltime.

Suva coach Gurjit Singh was disappointed with the result and said lapse of concentration in defence forced them to drop points in the encounter.
“We missed so many good chances in both halves and should have scored more than two goals.
“We were leading but allowed them to get back in the game through our mistakes.
“We need to work hard in our upcoming matches and I will be working on our weaknesses in training from Tuesday.”
Jubilant Labasa coach Bal Sanju Reddy was a relieved man after the final whistle and said they are happy to return with four points.
“We had two very tough matches and I am glad we managed to keep our unbeaten run intact.
“We made so many mistakes today and the first half was very messy and players did not impress me.
“I had to make changes in the second half and this helped us to get back into the match and draw.
“We have a lot of areas to improve in and senior players really need to pull up their socks and play with more urgency and commitment,” added Reddy.
