It was the third victory for the Kamal Swamy coached side on the New Zealand soil.#First held in 2012, the soccer tournament is attended by teams from Fiji, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Nadi won the first two editions of the tournament in Auckland in 2012 and 2013.#Last year the tournament was played in Sydney, Australia, in which the Jetsetters were bundled out at the group stage.#Both teams had equal chances in the first half but Nadi strikers Samuela Drudru and Napolioni Qasevakatini failed to equalise missing good chances.#NZFFI also had opportunities to go up as the tournament’s Golden Boot winner James Hoyt looked dangerous on many occasion but good defense by the Jetsetters denied the Kiwis to score.#Nadi’s guest player Christopher Clark broke the deadlock with a neat free-kick from outside the box. #Defender Iliesa Lino made no mistakes six minutes before full time after guiding a Munit Krishna through pass into the goalmouth. #Nadi defeated Lautoka 2-0 in the semi-final to advance into the final.#Nadi returns home $15,000 richer.#
