Four wins on Day One

The day started with form sides Rewa and Labasa. #In the tight contest Rewa came out on top as Misaele Draunibaka found the back of the net in the 41st minute and his goal proved to be a match winning one. #Rewa with their recent victories over Navua and Ba in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League seems to be a side to reckon with. #Revenge was sweet for the Suva side as they thumped Nadroga 4-0. Earlier in the season Nadroga had upset Suva in the league season. #Inia Boko scored a brace of goals and Pita Rabo also got his name on the score sheet. Nadroga conceded an own goal as Suva now focus on their remaining matches against Navua and Lautoka. #The official opening took place after the second match. #Lautoka edged Navua 1-0 via a Ratu Josefata Dugucagi 47th minute goal as the fans eagerly awaited the feature match of the day. #Host Ba lined up against a strong Nadi side which recently bundled them out of the Vodafone Fiji FACT semifinal. #Ba had every reason to win as Nadi put up a strong challenge. Laisenia Naioko broke the deadlock in the 58th minute much to the delight of the Ba fans as their side held on a victory and now prepare to face Rewa and Labasa. # Fiji FA MEDIA
