75th Fiji FA Anniversary

Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar said that as part of their celebration the numerous former national, district players and officials were honoured with medals as the national football body reflected on its 75th year of existence. #“I would like to thank our sponsors for the celebration Vodafone, Courts and Shop N Save. 75 years is a long time and the people who have contributed a lot towards football needed to be honoured. It is our way of saying thanks to them,” Kumar said. #Miss Nadi takes top honours#Nadi Football Association’s Ajneeta Lal took top honours at the Fiji Football Association 75th year platinum celebration carnival last Saturday night at Churchill Park. #Seven queens were part of the week-long carnival and vying for the two crowns. #Lal was crowed the Miss Charity and Kylie Wise representing the Lautoka Football Association was announced the first runner up. #Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel thanked sponsors Vodafone, Courts Fiji Limited and Shop N Save. #Vodafone Fiji managing director Mr. Aslam Khan, marketing manager Liga Gukisuva and Courts Fiji Limited Marketing director Anil Senewiratne were part of the closing ceremony.#The winner and runner up was decided through a public mobile text promotion. # Fiji FA MEDIA
