Fiji FA mourns loss of Board Member

#Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar says Dhanji’s service to football in Fiji over the past decade will be sorely missed.#“On behalf of the Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel, the executive committee and all of the staff at Fiji FA I wish to extend our deepest condolences to his family,” Kumar says.#“We are all joined in mourning the passing of a great man whose absence will leave a void at Fiji FA, and throughout football in Fiji.”#Kumar says Dhanji served for many years on the Fiji FA Finance Committee before stepping into the role of chairman in 2010.#In the past he served as vice-president of Suva Football Association and more recently held the post of president of the Fiji Gujurati Football Association.#A Justice of the Peace and a socially-minded man in general, Dhanji often volunteered his time to other pursuits outside of football.#He was an executive member of the Fiji Sports Commission, president of the Fiji Blind Society, a board member of Diabetes Fiji, Gujrat Samaj Fiji and a member of the Lions Club of Fiji and the FASANOC.#Dhanji is survived by his wife, two sons and two granddaughters.#
