Setback for hosts Rewa

This comes as the delta tigers lost 1-0 to a spirited Labasa side in the feature match of day one.
Fans are expecting a lot from Rewa to win on their home turf but the Labasa side is determined to prove a point. Krishneel Krishna’s dare devil attempt through a free kick in the first minute saw Labasa took an early lead and maintained it.
Rewa faces a wounded Ba side which also lost 1-0 to Nadroga. Both sides face a must win situation to keep their hopes of a semifinal berth. A loss for either side must just end their 2014 Vodafone Fiji FACT campaign.
Day One of the 2014 Vodafone Fiji FACT promised a lot of fireworks as defending champion Nadi played Navua. Both sides went to break 0-0 and it took a late Samuela Drudru goal to hand Nadi the upper hand heading into the second day of competition.
Upset of the day was created only in the second match as a first half goal by Nadroga gave them a 1-0 win over Ba.
Hot favourites Suva made a strong statement as they came up with a 3-0 victory over Lautoka.
