Khan: We improved in every game we played

Despite losing 5-1 to New Caledonia, 5-2 to Vanuatu, 9-1 to Tahiti, 1-3 to New Zealand and 0-5 Solomon Islands,Khan believes the players have learnt a lot.
“I think we improved in every match and the results showed it, Khan said.
“Our boys really played their hearts out against runners-up New Zealand and winners Solomon Islands.”
Khan said the team improved in every match they played.
“We improved gradually and the last two matches against Solomon Islands and New Zealand. We were very competitive. The boys lifted their performance and showed a lot of positivity in their approach to the game both in attack and defence. The 5-0 score-line against the Solomons was the lowest to date for us as in the past we lost 8-1 and 9-1.
“We have a very young team and most of these players for the first time featured in an international tournament which have given them more exposure.”
Khan said the players would be much better in the next championship.
“Now we have fulltime futsal players and I can see things improving in the near future,” he added.
