What the coaches say

Seaqaqa Coach

Senaila Bera

“We had a lot mistakes in our first match but we have worked out a plan to face Tavua again in the second leg. We know the match at home is very important for us as a goal against us will put us down. We had a mission to qualify to the Premier Division and the boys know what they have to do now.

“We will work on our defensive structure because we just need a draw to book a spot in the top division.”

“I think the match will be very exciting and I urge fans in Labasa, Seaqaqa, Dreketi,Bua and Nadogo to come out in numbers to support the team in its campaign.”

Tavua Coach

Saroj Kumar

“It was really disappointing to concede a goal at home and again ending the match with a draw which has put us on a lot pressure for the second leg this Saturday in Labasa.

“I never expected that to happen last weekend because our performance in the competition against the Viti Levu teams was great.”

“We will regroup in the second leg as we have ironed out our mistakes from the first match and the boys are confident of making it to the premier division.

“We had some problems in our finishing as we missed lots of opportunities in the first leg.”

“We are confident of beating Seaqaqa in the second although it will be going to be tough because they will be playing in front of their home crowd.
