Tavua targets giants

Tagged as one of the underdogs in Group B, Tavua will be out to upset few giants at the 2018 Courts Inter District Championship.
After surviving in the top division, the goldmine town boys will be there to prove their worth in the Premier Division facing Vodafone Fiji FACT champions Rewa, host Suva and Nadi.
The young westerners will be on their toes from the first match as they stand up to face Delta Tigers Rewa on Friday October 5 at 1.30pm in the opening match.
Tavua has once engraved its name on the IDC trophy which was in 1995 when they defeated Nadi 2-0 in the final at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
They will be out to win their second IDC title on a southern soil with a very young and energetic boys who are all home grown.
Tavua will be a team to watch in the tournament.
The second match is against Nadi on Saturday at 12pm and final Group B match will be up against host Suva on Sunday at 1pm.
