Tailevu Naitasiri senior men’s team has been awarded three points after their protest against Northland Tailevu went in their favor.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf confirmed that Tailevu Naitasiri filed a protest against Northland Tailevu for fielding in an eligible player during their Vodafone Senior League fixture.
“Tailevu Naitasiri has been awarded three points after they protested against Northland Tailevu for fielding an in eligible player playing under different name, “said Yusuf.
Yusuf said after going through with the evidence provided by Tailevu Naitasiri we found Northland Tailevu guilty.
“Tailevu Naitasiri provided us with concrete evidence and the Fiji FA Board awarded the three points and three goals to them as well the Northland Tailevu coach will also be charged to appear to face the Fiji FA Disciplinary Committee,” said Yusuf.
Yusuf said they had similar case from Seaqaqa against Bua.
“We have similar case from Seaqaqa where Bua fielded in an inedgible player under different name and we will be getting one more fact today (Monday) and will announce the result,”
