Referees attend stage two course

Twenty six Fiji Football referees attended a two-day stage 2 referees development course at Fiji FA Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.
Fiji FA referees director Rakesh Varman said the two-day course was educate referees about the change of laws of the game.
“This is done to educate our referees as there were lots of new laws implemented and this referees are eager to learn, “said Varman.
Varman said the referees were equipped with vast knowledge of how to officiate a match.
“They were taught about the important of reserve referees and communications within the officials, “he said
“Some of the new laws of the game that have been implemented are handball incident, simulation, dogso, free kicks, substitution, and offside,”
Varman said they had done the same with the Northern referees last month.
“As we prepare for the Courts IDC next month we are education our referees as we have done in North, South and we will be having for western referees this weekend in Lautoka.
