Three foreign players will be allowed to feature in the districts who wish to in the 2017/18 domestic football league season.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar confirmed that the decision was made during the board meeting a week ago in Ba.
“We will have three foreign players but the players should be here for the entire season.”
Kumar said Fiji FA season starts in October during Courts Inter District Tournament and if a player leaves there would be no replacement.
“It means a player will have to play in the whole season, “said Kumar.
Fiji FA had earlier put a stop on the import of foreign players for the domestic competition citing that the move was to boost the development of local players.
