On Saturday, Ba registered a convincing 3-1 win over Suva at the Fiji Football Association Academy grounds in Ba.
The Men in Black were settled early into the match after an own goal by Laisenia Raura. In the second half, experienced marksman Avinesh Waran Swamy showed his individual brilliance beating three Suva defenders and finishing home the second goal for Ba before Malakai Tiwa sealed the win. Christopher Wasasala scored the lone goal for Suva.
On Sunday, Drudru was again on song as he scored a brace to help Lautoka beat giant-killers Nasinu 4-3 in yet another exciting battle at Churchill Park while Nadi overcame Tavua at Prince Charles Park.
Christopher Kumar scored the lone goal of the match in the 4th minute.
Ba leads the points table with 23 points after playing nine matches while Lautoka remains on the second spot having 19 points in the bag.
Rewa now slips to the bottom of the points table with seven points after playing eight matches.
