Suva despite having ball possession for the most of the time failed to score as former Nadroga striker in Suva colours toiled hard during the match but could not score.#Nadroga coming in the match with a loss had lot to play for in order to remain in the contention for the semi-final berth though playing with determination the side could not stop more determined Drudru to score in the 70th minute of the play.#Suva coach was satisfied with the win but also believes the side has lot of work to be done before heading to Nadi in the weekend.#“We played well and the boys did their enough but the heat took its toll on the players that is why we missed on numerous occasions. It was a tough match because Nadroga came more hungrily to win after their loss to Ba last night but I told my players to play normal football and in the second half it was rewarded. We have couple of days remaining before we head to Nadi as we need to polish our attack.” Suva coach Gurjit Singh said after the win.#Nadroga coach Ramesh Sharma was pleased with the performance of his side despite losing two consecutive matches.#“I think we played a good game and the boys did their best but we couldn’t score in the match. The win for Suva was not easy as I believe it was a fluke win for them which is winning by 1-0. We have one more match remaining to play against Labasa and we will go back and prepare for the match and we will be playing for the district pride.” Sharma said.#Rewa’s Vodafone Fiji FACT campaign suffered a major setback after the second were defeated 1-0 by Lautoka.#Meanwhile, Ba tops the group A with six points after beating Labasa 1-0 this afternoon.#Suva will play Ba next Friday in their final match to determine the winner and the runner up in the group.# Fiji FA Media Team#
