At home Lautoka beat Nivea Savusavu 4-1 for their third straight league victory. The blues were determined for a good outing as Arvindra Naidu scored in the opening minute of the match. #Lethal Lautoka striker and the National Football League’s current highest goal scorer Valerio Nawatu added one more to his tally as his goal gave the home side a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.#In the second half Nigerian Sanni Issa struck just ten minutes in the new half and Naidu added his second just two minutes later. Savusavu got a consolation goal late in injury time through Akuila Bulewa. #In just three national football league matches, Nawatu has now scored five goals.#Elsewhere the Babasiga Lions Puma Labasa proved that they are serious contenders this year.
