Nadi Sangam goes through to IDC

Salendra Prasad, vice president of Fiji Secondary School Association says it was a hard fought battle for the Nadi Sangam College on their way to IDC.#“Nadi Sangam won the U15 grade in South West Zone. They drew with Natabua High School and then the side defeated Lomawai Secondary 3-2 in the last game which saw them going to IDC unbeaten,” Prasad said in a statement.#Meanwhile, in the under 17 grade Swami Vivekanand College looks all set to qualify for the competition according to Prasad.#“ In the Under 17 grade SVC outclassed Cuvu College 4-1 on Thursday while Natabua under 17 will travel down to Cuvu College and plays with SVC on Saturday to decide the winner for the grade. Looking at the under 17 grades SVC has a high chance of winning the zone, as they displayed good football,”#Prasad thanks all those who were behind the secne which led to the successful compeltition of the secondary school football in the South West zone.#“My sincere thanks goes to Zone Officials, principals with special thanks Mrs Goundar principal of Nadi Sangam for providing venues for the games and the hardworking teachers of Various Schools, referees and not forgetting Ministry of Education Western Officers for permitting the games,” Prasad said.#He has also wished all the participating teams all the best for the IDC.# Fiji FA Media#
