League resumes this Weekend

Southern giants Suva travels to Prince Charles Park to face Archie Watkins coached Nadroga side who has recorded two wins in the last two outing beating unbeaten Jacks Nadi and Tavua.
Suva will be out to end Nadroga’s two match unbeaten run and have been boosted with the inclusion of former Navua star Pranil Kumar.
“We need to prepare well and see that we do well in the league matches since we can still win the National Football League title. The boys will start preparing from this week for the match against Nadroga and every team is becoming tough nowadays and wants to remain in the Super Premier but the boys will give their all,” Suva coach Gurjit Singh said.
The Nadroga – Suva match will kick off at 1.30pm followed by Navua and Nadi at 3.30pm on Sundayat Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
A win for the Nadi side against Navua would mean the jetsetters topping the points table after the competition of first round of National Football League matches.
Nadi will welcome back the services of deadly duo Rusiate Matarerega and Napolinio Qasevakatini.
Nadi FA coach Kamal Swamy is happy with the team preparation throughout the week.
“The team is preparing well for the match and the boys are looking forward to the game this Saturday.
We hope for a good win as the players are preparing well.” Swamy said.
Navua versus Rewa match as been postponed and will be played later.
Churchill Park will be the host for three matches on Sunday.
First it will be the battle of the Lautoka Youth and Tavua Youth 11am and then Navua plays its second match of the weekend against Delta boys Rewa.
The match will be played at 1pm.
Design Engineering Blues and the Gold miners Tavua will also be in action.
