This comes as the group completed a two-day part one of the FIFA/Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) in conjunction with Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) D Licence course held at Vashist Muni Primary school in Navua. #Fiji FA national women’s head coach and football development manager Usenio Logaivau conducted the course. #He also held the same course a fortnight ago at the national football academy in Ba. #“The objective of the course was to train the participants to coach at grassroots level which is 6-12 year olds. This is a new scheme that has been brought forward by FIFA and I believe an ideal one to train our coaches to work at grassroots level,” Logaivau said. #“Various practical and theory sessions were covered during the two-day course which I believe was a success as I got a very positive feedback from the participant. Most of them were school teachers and the next step for them is to go out and coach at grassroots level with the knowledge they have gained.”#Logaivau said that in the coming weeks the part one D –Licence course will be held in various other centers around the country. # Fiji FA MEDIA #
