Ba wins at home

Nigerian Sanni Issa entertained the home crowd with his scintillating skills and foot work from the first whistle. #In the 18th minute Issa set up the first goal for Malakai Tiwa from the left flank when Tiwa was left unmark and netted the ball into the net. #Second half Ba’s immense pressure saw them getting another on the score sheet when Abbu Zahid and Sanni Issa playing beautifully which saw Zahid giving the ball to Issa after beating all the Hekari defender led by Pita Bolaitoga and Taniela Waqa and stroke home the second goal for the side 10 minutes away from the final whistle. #Hekari United coach Jerry Allen was left nail biting ruining the opportunities his side was rewarded with in the match. #“I don’t know what happened today we got lot of opportunities and missing a penalty and then the ball hit the cross bar but its football anything can happen when you get the chance you need to score to win. We have bit less chances but we will give our best in the next three games which we have.” disappointed coach Allen said. #Hekari United were given a penalty but Kema Jack was under pressure which saw his shot palmed away by the Ba goalie Jone Ralulu in the second half of the play. #Kema Jack had a golden opportunity to equalize for Heakri when Ralulu was beaten and he just had to tap the ball into the empty goal mouth but failed to score.#Ba coach Yogendra Dutt had all smiles on his face after the completion of the match. Dutt said they have big advantage heading into the later part of competition. #“We have a great advantage with two goals and we are bit close to our aim which we have set before the start of the Champions League.
