#In view of the international club clash, giants Ba have been excused from this round of the 2010 Fiji Sun/Weet-Bix National Football League (NFL).#Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) Competitions Manager Jainendra Sukhu says Ba Football Association had written a letter confirming their trip to NZ. #“The National League board has received a letter in writing from Ba FA notifying us on their trip to NZ to play a friendly match against Waitakere,” he said.#“It is positive news for Fiji FA as one of local clubs is traveling to overseas for a match,” Sukhu said.#Waitakere United is using this match as a build up to the upcoming 2010-11 New Zealand football league season.#The winner of the Ba-Waitakere clash is set to walk away with $5000. Ba last faced Waitakere in 2007 during the O-League final at Mt Smart Stadium in New Zealand. On that occasion Ba lost 0-1. #Ba FA President Rishi Kumar who is already in NZ says his side will arrive on Friday.#The Men in Black side is in the running to scoop the NFL title from Weet-Bix Shop N Save Lautoka’s hand. Ba needs six points from their remaining two matches to regain the NFL title.#Ba last held the NFL title in 2008. # # #
